The Importance of Design, Big and Small

Even this tiny bit of design adds to the experience of the wine. What is the significance?

This cork came out of a bottle of Modrý Portugal Barrique, from the Vinařstvi Bauman winery in Moravia. Being fans of Moravian wine, every time we open a bottle and see this small bit of design it adds to the overall experience.

This just goes to show the importance of design no matter how big or small.

And though it has been shown that a cork or a screw top in no way affects the taste of the wine, it definitely affects the whole experience of opening, sniffing, tasting, and drinking the wine. This shows the importance of designing the experience as well.
