Coca-Cola Spain Considers Unifying portfolio

Coca-Cola Spain will launch a new packaging design that seeks to unify the Coca-Cola family—Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero—into a “single brand” identity.

According to the FAQ on the Coca-Cola Spain website, the new strategy will have all its packaging styled in the same way, based on the original Coca-Cola design.
Consumers will be able to identify the drinks they want by the iconic colors of the variants of Coca-Cola, along with a description seen at the base of the cans and bottles. The ingredients and tastes of the drinks will remain the same.
What do you think? Is this BIG STEP a gain or a step in the wrong direction?
