Goodbye 2016, hello 2017!

A short note on 2016 and our hopes and plans for 2017.

Dear clients, friends & followers,

I would like to thank you all for sticking with us through 2016. It was not just a deadly year for rock stars, but also difficult year for me and B&H.

As many of you know, I "divorced" with my old partner and friend Katarina Paurova, which was very difficult and painful for me on many levels (as I am sure it was for her, as well).

I had to dig deep down and clarify my personal values and make many difficult decisions. But as they say, every dark cloud has a sliver lining, and I have to say that I am very thankful for how things worked out.

Furthermore, I have given the B&H team a major "facelift". We decided to hire only people who share the similar values to our own, like the ones presented on our blog for last few years, such as corporate social responsibility, sustainability, higher purpose, giving back, courage, experimentation, designing for change, and fun.

I believe I speak for the whole B&H team when I say we feel that DESIGN should serve the greater good, that it is time to do something for environment, for people in need, and that it can have a positive effect not only on business, but on society - even a society facing the dangers of nationalism, xenophobia, oligarchy, foreign propaganda and fake news as the Czech Republic is. We believe that design is something that can help fix it and help the world to become more sane, and life on Earth more sustainable.

In 2017 we hope and plan to use design for doing good - for business, for people, and for the environment - and spread the word of the many benefits of working with a higher purpose.
